The best holiday pop-up bars and seasonal experiences in Charlotte

What’s more merry and bright than holiday lights and decor? Perhaps a whole bar transformed into a seasonal winter wonderland, serving up themed cocktails in the Charlotte area.

This year for the holidays, you’ll find a couple of locations of the Christmas-themed Miracle bar pop-up, bringing seasonal cocktails such as the Christmapolitan and Snowball Old-Fashioned. New drinks are joining the party, too, including the Stocking Stuffer, Christmasaurus, Crooked Antler, Santa Slide and Koala Lalala.

At Miracle’s tropical sister pop-up Sippin’ Santa, look for Frosty the Merman, Choquito, Sugar Plum Mai Tai and Tom and Sherry. Returning favorites on the drink menu include Jingle Bird, Holiday on Ice and the original Sippin’ Santa.

Billy Sunday is also undergoing a transformation bringing holiday vibes. Its drink lineup will include the Sugar Cookie Martini, Mulled Wine, Hot Buttered Rum, hot chocolate, eggnog and more.

Another bar — VINYL — will transform into Santa’s Favorite Watering Hole this holiday season, with sparkling garlands, lights and other decor. Its drink lineup includes Angels With Filthy Souls, Festivus Miracle, Back Door Santa and a Mele Kalikimaka shooter.

Humbug is in on it, too. There, you can visit the House of Krampus for a more intimate holiday cocktail experience, as ticketed and timed parties are limited to four people or fewer.

And don’t forget Waterman Fish Bar. Its Nauti North Pole will take place on the restaurant’s rooftop, weather permitting.

You’ll find the details below. And wait, there’s more: Watch this space, and we’ll add to this list as Charlotte-area bars finalize their plans to bring you drinks to help make you jolly.
