Several Charlotte-area restaurants are offering New Year’s Day brunch, lunch and dinner deals, which can also help with any fiscally-responsible new year’s resolutions you may have. A win-win!
Here are some local deals to look out for on New Year’s Day:
Birdsong Brewing

Birdsong Brewing is hosting its annual New Year’s Day party. Beginning at 10 a.m., the brewery will host a bagel bar with fresh bagels, cream cheeses and locally roasted coffee from Central Coffee. A $5 donation is suggested for Second Harvest Food Bank Metrolina, but give whatever you can. While you’re there, order at the bar: the brewery will be serving its Bloody Beers made with Zing Zang and Jalapeño Pale Ale plus Prosecco Mimosas and Beer-mosas. A 2025 welcome celebration, indeed!

Free Range Brewing is hosting its 9th annual Free Soup Day beginning at 11 a.m. on New Year’s Day. The brewery has partnered with more than 20 local chefs to serve soup, bread and desserts to the Charlotte community.

If you like chili, you won’t want to miss Vaulted Oak Brewing’s 4th annual Chili Cookoff on New Year’s Day. You can judge the chili for free. Just show up between 2-5 p.m., where you’ll be served ramekins of chili to taste. Want to cook your famous chili? You can do that, too.
