Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls, a small but growing restaurant chain, is bringing its luxurious lobster rolls to Charlotte this month.

The fast-casual restaurant’s first Charlotte location will open Wednesday, April 23, serving traditional lobster rolls and other high-end options to both lunch and dinner customers.

Its menu is a lobster lover’s dream, stacked with five kinds of lobster rolls — New England style, Connecticut style, lobster salad, a lobster BLT and the overstuffed Bar Harbor option, topped with lobster tail.

There’s also lobster grilled cheese, lobster mac and cheese and lobster bisque. Shrimp salad is available, too, as is a kids menu with hot dogs and other standard fare.

Mason’s Famous notes that it focuses on sustainably sourced seafood, partnering with Maine lobstermen who use environmentally friendly fishing methods to harvest their catch. The business was founded in 2014 by Dan Beck, a former restaurant seafood buyer.
