A new sweet spot is joining the food and drink lineup at Camp North End.

Oh My Ganache, a family-run bakery known for its specialty cheesecakes, is officially setting up shop in its first permanent location in the space formerly home to Wentworth & Fenn — which closed around the holiday season.

Though this is the cheesecake bar’s first location, owner and Charlotte native Brittani Sheppard has been serving up her sweets since 2019, inspired by her late grandfather’s sweet potato pie recipe. Now, it’s a full family-run business focused on cheesecake.

After dishing out her desserts at pop-up and several events, she recently said on Instagram that “this has been journey but well worth the wait.” The excitement is even pouring in from locals already too, like CharlotteFive follower Denise Cochran, who commented, “Oh my gaaaaaanache yes!!” on our post of the news.

“Opening our first permanent home at Camp North End marks a beautiful new chapter for Oh My Ganache. This space will allow us to not just serve desserts, but to create a community gathering spot where sweet moments become lasting memories,” Sheppard said in a release shared with CharlotteFive. “The Camp North End team has embraced our vision from day one, understanding that what we’re building goes beyond a bakery — it’s a continuation of family tradition reimagined for today’s Charlotte.”

Oh My Ganache’s is being boasted as a “cheesecake lover’s dream come true,” offering customizable vanilla, peach cobbler bread pudding or sweet potato pie cheesecakes whole or by the slice with your choice of toppings, like its bourbon pecan sauce.

The dessert spot, which will also have specialty crafted drinks to enjoy, is nestled near Grow plant shop with indoor bar style seating and outdoor tables.

“Oh My Ganache represents exactly the kind of homegrown talent that makes Camp North End a special destination,” said Damon Hemmerdinger, Co-President of ATCO, developer of Camp North End. “Brittani has created something extraordinary in honoring her family’s culinary heritage while boldly innovating. Her sweets have a devoted following, and we’re thrilled to have this unique concept join our burgeoning food scene in the Keswick District.”
