  • Picasso Taqueria rebrands as Picasso Mediterranean, expanding its menu focus.
  • New offerings include Mediterranean seafood entrees and vegetarian dishes.
  • Fan favorites like nachos and tacos remain alongside 20 beers and cocktails.

Picasso Taqueria, inspired by its owner’s summertime trips to Spain, is switching up the focus of its food — and its name.

Now, when you head into Merino Mill, you’ll instead find Picasso Mediterranean.

Many of your favorite taqueria staples will still be there. But alongside them on the menu will be an expanded lineup of Mediterranean entrees, such as oregano chicken, roasted salmon and Chilean sea bass, each paired with a side salad.

“We wanted to offer a bigger menu for the entire family,” Picasso Mediterranean owner Michal Bay said in a news release. “If the adults want salmon and seabass, but the kids want cheese quesadillas, everybody can leave happy.”

Vegetarian options include crispy falafel served with tzatziki and a fresh Mediterranean salad. The house-made hummus entree — topped with chickpeas, olive oil and spices — is vegan.
