Charlotte Restaurant Week is back with more than 125 summer Queen’s Feast deals

Dining deals are back at more than 125 area restaurants participating in the summer edition of Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week.

The semi-annual promotion in January and July provides restaurants gives diners the chance to check out the culinary creativity of new restaurants and old favorites at a fixed price.

Here’s how it works:

• From July 18-July 27, each restaurant will offer three-course meals with prix fixe prices ranging from $30-$50 per person.
• The restaurants participating stretch across nine counties: Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Cleveland, Union, Lincoln, Catawba, Stanly and York.
• Reservations are highly recommended, as the popular seats get snapped up quickly.

Among the 17 restaurants new to participating, you’ll find:

• Yassou Greek Cuisine in Eastover, featuring family recipes tested over generations
• Mazi in South End, a new Mediterranean concept with acclaimed chef Whit Thomas in the kitchen
• Fontana Di Vino in SouthPark, offering fresh Italian food from former “Hell’s Kitchen” chef Scott Leibfried
• Dogwood Southern Table & Bar at The Westin in Uptown, a Charlotte favorite that recently reopened with a fresh take.

“It’s a fun time to venture out with friends and family and experience the local restaurant scene,” Bruce Hensley, a partner in Hensley Fontana Public Relations, said in a news release. The company owns and operates the promotion.

“You can try something new to you, or rediscover a place that you haven’t visited recently, while the restaurants make their best pitch to solidify new regular customers.”
