Starting Monday, July 28, discounts are up for grabs at chef Bruce Moffett’s American small plates restaurant, which was a James Beard Award semifinalist for best new restaurant in 2010 and has been quietly putting out delicious bites ever since.
Deals to watch out for include:
- Mondays: Good Food’s famous green curry mussels with green curry cream, coconut milk, cilantro and house roti (normally $18) and house martinis, will each be $12.
- Tuesdays: A special menu featuring select small plates, house cocktails and wines by the glass will be offered, with all items priced at $10.
- Wednesdays: All bottles of wine are half price.
“Good Food is a neighborhood spot in the best way,” Elizabeth Tackett, the restaurant’s general manager, said in a news release.
“Many of our guests join us regularly during the week, and we thought it would be nice to reward them with savings on some of our popular dishes and drinks. Popping in for a bite or a beverage on a weeknight should be easy, and hopefully this makes it even more so,” she added.
The promotion is also looking to get new faces into the restaurant to experience Good Food on Montford’s adventurous flavors.
“Our small plate format was really designed to encourage people to discover new flavors from interesting cuisines around the world. Sharing the dishes adds to the experience. The same goes for our wine program,” she said.
Tackett, who curates the restaurant’s wine list, encourages guests to explore grapes and producers from lesser-known regions that they may not be as familiar with.
“We strive to offer exceptional wines that are also exceptional values. So it’s the perfect place to come and discover something new,” she said.
