Brunch spot with Southern-inspired breakfast opens new Charlotte-area restaurant

Concord has a new brunch spot serving up Southern-inspired breakfast, lunch and all-day classics.

Another Broken Egg Cafe recently opened at 2420 Herrons Nest Place in Christenbury Village, a mixed-use development and community hub, according to a news release sent to CharlotteFive.

“Come meet our team, grab a seat and start your morning the right way,” the restaurant teased in a recent Instagram post. “We’re so excited to be part of this community.”

An outdoor, angled close-up shows the storefront sign for “Another Broken Egg Cafe” mounted on a white surface between light-colored brick walls. The restaurant’s name features bright turquoise channel letters, with a circular white logo displaying a stylized rooster to the left. A black scalloped awning hangs directly below the signage.

The cafe is owned by North Carolina-based restaurant group FourFiveNine Global.

“As Concord locals, we’ve watched this community grow into something truly special, so when the opportunity came to bring Another Broken Egg Cafe to the area, it was an easy decision,” a company representative said in the release.

“After the incredible culture we’ve built at our first location, we knew Concord deserved that same energy, and we can’t wait for guests to experience everything we have to offer.”

At the Concord cafe, customers can also look forward to rotating seasonal offerings, including:

  • Peach Cobbler French Toast
  • Raspberry White Chocolate Pancakes
  • Low Country Shrimp & Fried Green Tomato Benedict
  • Champagne Lobster Omelette.

Plus, there’s a full bar featuring craft cocktails, mocktails, mimosas and Bloody Marys, the release said.

The interior of a restaurant features a wall quote that reads, “YOU CAN’T BUY HAPPINESS, BUT YOU CAN BUY BRUNCH AND THAT’S PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING.” Below the text, the textured wall is decorated with a small round mirror, two framed black-and-white photos, and a large decorative wall clock. In the foreground, wooden booths with decorative metal railings are visible under an open ceiling with exposed copper-colored ductwork.
