We can’t talk about Cam Newton without talking about his fashion.

His outfits might be almost as famous as the NFL quarterback himself. While the rest of Charlotte awaits his return to the Carolina Panthers, we’re here to pay homage to the items in his closet. (Remember when meteorologist Nick Kosir was duping Cam’s looks on Insta? We’re not the only fans.)

Here are a few of our favorite Cam getups from over the years:

Cam Newton’s Coachella romper (that was actually two pieces) from 2017 was made by SCORE Retail Lounge and Sweets Bar owner Jay Knox in Charlotte.

SPOTTED: The famous Coachella romper (that was actually two pieces) from 2017.

WHY WE LOVE IT: Among all the other reasons, it was locally made: By SCORE Retail Lounge and Sweets Bar owner Jay Knox.

Cam Newton is the MVP of layering. In this photo, taken as he arrived for the Jan. 24 NFC Championship game against Arizona, Cam is rocking gray slacks, a plaid sports jacket and a khaki colored overcoat (willing to bet there’s also a collared shirt and sweater under that jacket), with a scarf, knit hat and a small leather attache. Please, please pay special attention to studded loafers.

WHY WE LOVE IT: The bow tie, the blazer, the Beats — and the swagger.

As of this past weekend, this may be Newton’s most famous outfit. Or to be more accurate, his most famous pants. The skin-tight zebra-striped Versace pants with a gold Barocco print, worn for the trip to Super Bowl 50, caught the eye of pretty much everyone on earth. He paired the pants, which reportedly retail for $850 but are sold out everywhere (sorry, guys), with black and gold oxfords and a black leather jacket. You be you, Cam.

What will he wear next? We can’t wait for a chance to find out and return Charlotte’s NFL player fashion to top ranking. Christian McCaffrey — complete with his own sharp suits — can’t hold down the fort all by himself.
