CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The U.S. National Whitewater Center will bring a touch of Ireland to its waters for its Green River Revival on March 12.

The event marks the return of the Whitewater Center’s annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration that was canceled the last two years because of the pandemic.

The day will begin with the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run at 9 a.m. before the center’s resident leprechaun turns the river green at 1 p.m.

There will also be a yoga and live music from Cha Wa.
