Vegfest Jr., the free, smaller version of the Charlotte vegan celebration that is Vegfest, is coming up Thursday, March 24, for an evening of plant-based food and fun.

Expect to find all-vegan food and drinks, along with local vendors, a DJ cranking out tunes and a raffle at the Camp North End event starting at 6:30 p.m. There’s also a vegan mac and cheese contest for Charlotte’s professional chefs and caterers from 7-8 p.m., featuring celebrity judges.

WHEN: Thursday, March 24, 6:30-9 p.m.

WHERE: Camp North End’s Ford Building, 1774 Statesville Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina 28206.

RSVP: Tickets aren’t required for the free event, but RSVP to the Facebook event to let festival planners get a head count.
