A vintage Charlotte Checkers bobblehead has been released. Here’s how you can get one.
The 2022-23 American Hockey League season begins today, and Charlotte Checkers fans can lean into the action by ordering a new limited edition AHL bobblehead to cheer the team on.
The bobblehead is part of the American Hockey League Vintage Bobbleheads collection that the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is releasing for all 32 teams.
“The Checkers have enjoyed tremendous success in recent seasons and are looking to generate more excitement in Charlotte in the 2022-23 season,” said Phil Sklar, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO.
How to get a Charlotte Checkers bobblehead
When: Preorder the AHL collectible online, and it will ship out in November — for you, or just in time for to cross off something for the hockey lover on your holiday shopping list.
Details: The limited-edition, vintage bobblehead is standing on a circular base bearing the team’s name, with the figure suited up in a red and black team jersey and holding a hockey stick. Each one is individually numbered to 500.
Cost: $30 plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order. A set featuring all 32 AHL team bobbleheads is $900.
