The holidays are coming. Here’s where to find a real Christmas tree in and around Charlotte.
Some would say it’s not Christmas without the smell of pine or spruce wafting out from a fresh Christmas tree. And if that’s your vibe, the time to get that holiday tradition going is now, as Christmas tree lots and farms in the Charlotte area are opening for business.
We learned in recent years fewer trees were planted during the Great Recession about a decade ago. That, coupled with the potential for lingering supply chain issues and some folks decorating earlier than ever, means it’s wise not to delay if you’re planning to put up a tree this year. Supplies are limited.
Here are places in Charlotte and within driving distance to get a live Christmas tree:
Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation Christmas Tree Lot
