Friday storms: Restaurants, bars and venues closed during Charlotte’s inclement weather

With National Weather Service meteorologists predicting potential tornadoes on Friday, Jan. 12, a few Charlotte-area restaurants, entertainment venues and other small businesses are adjusting hours or closing for the day.

This is the second round of inclement weather for the week in the Charlotte area, so if you do go out this weekend, make sure to take care of your bartender or server who may have lost needed tips this week.

We’ll keep this story updated as more places announce adjustments. It’s also a good idea to check businesses’ social media to see if the spots you’re interested in are open.
