Blumenthal Arts is offering a BOGO sale today only on tickets to select performances. Choices include the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, “Life Rules,” “Parade” and “Kimberly Akimbo.” Prices vary, and some exclusions apply.
Goldie’s

Goldie’s Goldie’s Anti Valentine’s Party is set for Saturday, Feb. 15 for those who don’t care to celebrate the actual holiday.
Live music from U-Phonik will kick off at 9 p.m., and two cocktail specials are available: Tainted Love with Smirnoff cherry vodka, grenadine, lime juice, soda water and a blackberry syrup pipette; and the Bite Me with 21 Seeds cucumber jalapeño tequila, strawberry purée, triple sec, sour mix and sliced jalapeños.
Great Wagon Road Distilling Co.

Great Wagon Road Distilling has three sets of musicians set to take the stage for Valentine’s Day, starting at 7 p.m. No reservations are required for the performances, promising “sexy love songs.”
Lost Worlds Brewing

Both the Charlotte and Lake Norman locations of Lost Worlds Brewing will have pints of Cherry Chocolate Trek Porter that you can toast the holiday with.
Its Cornelius location’s coffee bar will offer Valentine’s Day specials, too: a Cocoa Rhapsody Latte (hot or iced) and Sweet Tart Lemonade.
Optimist Hall
Location: 1115 N. Brevard St., Charlotte, NC 28206
Optimist Hall has multiple vendors offering Valentine’s Day food and drink specials.
- Bao and Broth is offering BOGO bao buns.
- Enat Ethiopian has a heart-shaped tibs platter.
- Honeysuckle Gelato has a gelato flight with six scoops for $14.
- Schrieber’s on Rye has heart-shaped black and white cookies.
- Spindle Bar has cocktail specials: Main Squeeze frozen vodka lemonade and Love is Brewing, a chocolate caramel espresso martini.
- Suarez Bakery and Barra is baking up red velvet crinkle cookies, chocolate-covered strawberry cupcakes and raspberry cream doughnuts. (They’re also available at its Park Road location.)
- Undercurrent Coffee’s iced cappuccino specials are: The Lovers and The Hermit. (They’re also available at the Plaza Midwood location.)
- Village Juice has a Pink Pine Smoothie and vegan cheesecakes.
- Zukku Sushi has a bento box for two for $50+

Piada’s Valentine’s Day Bundle includes two entrees with protein, two drinks and a serving of Piada’s signature cannoli chips for $20.25. Limited-edition heart-shaped pasta from Barilla used for the bundle adds a festive touch.
