Regal Cinemas is offering deeply discounted tickets on select family movies returning to the big screen this summer.

Starting June 1, moviegoers can snag $1 tickets to more than a dozen previously released titles at participating Regal theaters nationwide, including in North Carolina.

The annual “Summer Movie Express” series will run until Aug. 13 and includes family-favorite flicks like “The Wild Robot” (2024), “A Minecraft Movie” (2025) and “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants” (2025), the theater chain’s website says.

What’s a movie without snacks? Guests with a ticket to any of the featured summer movie titles can also enjoy $3 off a Snack Pack, which includes a junior popcorn, a junior drink, fruit gummies and/or Dippin’ Dots ice cream.

Discounted summer movies

Rival theater chains AMC and Cinemark will each launch their own discount movie deals this summer, too.

Families can snag $3 tickets as part of AMC’s Summer Movie Camp starting June 22, while Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse kicks off June 1 with select tickets starting at $1.75.
