Here are 13 new boutique fitness studios in Charlotte—and new member deals for each

Charlotte’s fitness scene continues to grow, and there’s plenty of ways to get involved. Our city saw the opening of 13 new boutique gyms in 2019 alone. From bootcamps to barre, the Queen City knows how to work up a worthy sweat.

What to expect: Centered on cardio, strength and restoration, this barre studio combines a variety of class styles with custom-curated playlists.

What to expect: Named for a concept used in North Indian classical music meaning the space between two beats, this yoga studio creates a peaceful place to connect to life’s rhythm.

2019 marked the final year of operation for Gold’s Gym and Charlotte Athletic Club Uptown. But Planet Fitness will soon join the ranks of the urban gyms, situated next to Chima. Anytime Fitness will also open an Oakhurst location in 2020.
