Not Just Coffee in Dilworth is expected to open in a month with cocktails, coffee and more

James Yoder, co-owner of Not Just Coffee along with his wife Miracle, is opening their fifth location at 2230 Park Road in mid-October. The location is neighbors with Green Brothers Juice Company, Yoga One and Inizio Pizza in Dilworth.

Lease is signed! We can officially say Dilworth location coming soon!

Interior

With locations at 7th Street Public Market, Packard Place, Atherton Mill and Tabor/Soco Gallery, Yoder said you can expect a similar modern theme along with a few classics thrown in. The interior design elements include exposed brick, white Hex tile, custom metal framing, hardwood maple countertops and a custom barn door. The 1,200-square-foot space will have around 30 to 35 seats inside and outside.

How did Yoder choose his fifth location?

“We’ve been talking to the developers of this spot way before this building went up and it seemed like it was going to be a good partnership,” said Yoder. “We’re really excited to be in this neighborhood.”

Cocktails

This location will be the first to have a cocktail program with six to 10 cocktails on the menu.

“Cocktails have been something I’ve been really interested in for years,” said Yoder. “I think it’s kind of a perfect marriage with good coffee in the morning and cocktails at night.”

Along with cocktails, Not Just Coffee will also serve beer, wine and coffee, of course. Yoder has been talking to Free Range Brewing about creating or using one of their beers and possibly having a kombucha from Lenny Boy Brewing Kompany.

“There’s going to be something for everyone,” said Yoder.

Food

They’ll also be expanding their food program. Although they aren’t considering themselves a full service restaurant, Not Just Coffee will serve smaller bites for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

On the breakfast menu, they’ll have five items or more including steel-cut oats, waffles, savory breakfast porridge, avocado toast and poached eggs. The lunch menu will have a couple of salads, grain bowls, robust toast and sardine options. Dinner will have items like a meat and cheese board.

New toast alert! Think lite and refreshing cucumber sandwich, add in a little dill and pickled onions, and you have this masterpiece! What should we name it?!

Hours

Not Just Coffee will be open every day starting at 7 a.m. and closing at 9 p.m. on weeknights and 10 p.m. on weekends.

You can expect more from Yoder and the Not Just Coffee team in the future.

“This is the future direction I want to go,” said Yoder. “I have a strong interest in food and beverage outside of just coffee.”

We can’t wait…
