Summer is upon us, and that means it’s time for cooling down on a summer day with a few scoops of ice cream — or maybe even a sundae.

Charlotte’s got plenty of ice cream shop options to help you out with that, from locally owned mom-and-pop operations to quickly growing creamery empires. And they’re all delicious. But naturally, we want to know which places you think are the best of the best.

You can submit your favorite local ice cream shops and restaurants in our survey below. This is not a scientific poll or survey. If you have more than one favorite, you can refresh the page and submit a second option.

*Note: We all know about the ice cream at places like Dairy Queen, so chain restaurants that have more than 100 locations worldwide will be excluded from the poll.
