Where’s the best soul food in the Charlotte area? Tell us your favorites
When fried chicken, smothered pork chops, collard greens and cornbread are calling, where do you go in the Charlotte area?
We want to know because we’re setting out on a hunt to find the best soul food out there. So we’re looking for your help.
To nominate your favorite soul food restaurant, just fill out our nomination form or email us at charlottefive@charlottefive.com. And if you find it too hard to pick just one, that’s OK! You can just refresh the form and nominate another spot.
As with past CharlotteFive Readers’ Choice contests, each restaurant must have a location in the Charlotte area — which includes Lake Norman, Gastonia, Matthews, Mint Hill, Fort Mill and other nearby communities — and have fewer than 20 locations nationwide.
Once we collect the nominations, we’ll invite you to vote for the ones you think are the best. Stay tuned for more details and be sure you’re signed up for the CharlotteFive newsletter to follow along.
