Score passes to 3 new films

The Charlotte Observer is giving away passes to special advance screenings for three films. Read on for details.

‘Goosebumps’

A teenager (Dylan Minnette) teams up with the daughter (Odeya Rush) of young adult horror author R.L. Stine (Jack Black) after the writer’s imaginary demons are set free on the town of Greendale, Md. Rated PG.

WIN TICKETS: To enter a drawing for a pair of passes to the promo screening (7 p.m. Monday in south Charlotte), email CLT@charlotteobserver.com with “Goosebumps” in the subject line and your name, age and phone number in the body. Deadline: 5 p.m. Friday.

‘Crimson Peak’

In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author (Mia Wasikowska) is torn between love for her childhood friend (Tom Hiddleston) and the temptation of a mysterious outsider (Charlie Hunnam). Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds ... and remembers. Rated R.

GET TICKETS: Seventy-five admit-two passes for the promo screening (7 p.m. Tuesday in south Charlotte) will be distributed in the main lobby of the Observer, 600 S. Tryon St., starting at 8 a.m. Friday. Limit one admit-two pass per person, while supplies last.

‘Bridge of Spies’

An American lawyer (Tom Hanks) is recruited by the CIA during the Cold War to help rescue a pilot detained in the Soviet Union. Rated PG-13.
