What to Watch on Sunday: More new Christmas movies and the ‘Mr. Robot’ series finale
Christmas Crush (7 p.m., ION) - In this new movie, Addie makes a Christmas wish for her neighbor, Sam, to fall in love with her, but she’s not expecting anything to happen — and she definitely isn’t expecting the wish to go awry and cause her other neighbor, Pete, to fall in love with her instead.
It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (8 p.m., Hallmark) - In this new Hallmark movie, a New England Christmas decorating competition searches for the town with the most Christmas spirit, and the mayors of East and West Riverton go all out to get their towns to the top of the holiday heap.
A Date by Christmas Eve (8 p.m., Lifetime) - In this new Lifetime movie, Chelsea Simms, the good-hearted brand strategist for the popular dating app The Nice List, discovers the app has granted her magical powers, so she uses her newfound ability to make all of the naughty people in her life learn how to be good again.
Mr. Robot (9 p.m., USA) - It’s the two-hour series finale for this mind-bending Rami Malek - Christian Slater drama.
Home for the Holidays with Idina Menzel (9 p.m., NBC) - This special features inspirational stories of lives changed through adoption. Scheduled performers include host Idina Menzel, Adam Lambert, Ne-Yo and Kelly Rowland.
A Family Christmas Gift (9 p.m., Hallmark Movies & Mysteries) - In this new movie, Amber spends the holidays with her Aunt Dora and helps plan a fundraising Christmas Concert, and it brings Amber closer to her aunt and a new love into her life.
The Year: 2019 (9 p.m., ABC) - Robin Roberts hosts this look back at historic and memorable moments from 2019, including interviews with personalities of the year.
Holiday Wars (9 p.m., Food) - The two remaining teams of cake masters and sugar artists face off for their final festive battle.
Holiday Gingerbread Showdown (10 p.m., Food) - The season finale honors the 35th anniversary of the Christmas movie “Gremlins” by challenging the three finalists to build even bigger and better showpieces.
