First Watch's newest Charlotte location opens next week.

After opening its first local location on the edge of Matthews in February, a breakfast-focused chain will add another location next week.

First Watch, which claims to be the nation’s largest daytime-only restaurant chain with 330 restaurants in 29 states, will add a second local location Monday at 6311 Providence Farm Lane, on Providence Road near I-485.

Good Morning Carolinas, which owns the local locations, has already announced plans to open 12 First Watch locations in Charlotte and Greenville, N.C., as well as Spartanburg and Columbia in South Carolina.

With a “curated” menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch options, First Watch is known for specialties like Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, maple-syrup-dipped Million Dollar Bacon and coffee from its own Project Sunrise grown by female farmers in Colombia.

All locations are open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily and all serve the entire menu all day.
