Dean Mullis: Work late on Saturday to save work on Sunday?
We usually don’t do much on Saturday afternoons when we get home from the farmers market. It has already been a nine-hour day.
But with a forecast of rain Saturday night and a bunch of tomatoes to transplant, Jenifer and I set out 200 tomatoes last Saturday evening.
It was a lazy decision. If we got them planted and it rained, I wouldn’t have to water them on Sunday.
Dean Mullis writes from Laughing Owl Farm in Richfield.
