Extension master gardeners will teach eco-friendly practices for a beautiful yard with biodiversity that attracts bees and birds with suggestions about native plants. Nature

Guided Nature Walk: Oct. 24, 10:15 a.m., Charlotte Nature Museum, 1658 Sterling Road. Join an educational walk around the Paw Paw Nature Trail with a naturalist to discover the beauty and diversity of the bottomland forest habitat. Activities included with museum admission. $8. Audubon Ambassador Training: Oct 29, 4-9 p.m. Co-hosted by Audubon North Carolina and NC Interfaith Power & Light at Myers Park Baptist Church, 1900 Queens Road. Join and learn about climate change and how it affects the bird population in North Carolina. Become part of the national Ambassador program, and help with the solutions.
