Creating Holiday Arrangements and Live Auction: Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m., Charlotte Garden Club at The Mint Museum, 2730 Randolph Road. Jeffrey Drumm, plantsman for private and public Charlotte gardens, will create holiday decor using flowers, greenery and other natural materials. Holiday Décor Using the Bounty of Nature: Dec. 9, 10 a.m. - Noon, UNCC Botanical Gardens at McMillan Greenhouse Classroom, 9090 Craver Rd. Join Betsy Seymour to create holiday decorations using natural materials. Participants will create a table centerpiece and a piece to hang on your front door or mailbox, using greenery and berries from the UNC Botanical Garden. Members $15.00, Non-members $25.00. Trails and Tails along McAlpine Creek Greenway: Dec 12, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. McDowell Nature Center, 15222 York Road. Come together with our K-9 “Tails” and hit the “Trails” each month at a different park, preserve or greenway around the Charlotte area. Must bring a 6 foot leash and Mutt Mitts. Ages:10 and up.
