Horticulture Highlight Walk: 1 - 2 p.m. Dec. 19, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 6500 S. New Hope Road, Belmont. Members of the professional horticulture staff lead a walk through the gardens to point out plants of interest and share seasonally relevant gardening tips. Wild Animal Care Behind-the-Scenes: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Dec. 26, McDowell Nature Center, 15222 York Road. Assist staff in providing daily care for the animals.
