Time is ticking to grab any gifts you may want to put under the Christmas tree... or groceries for your holiday feasts.

Like other major holidays, many Charlotte-area businesses will be closed or have adjusted hours leading up to the holiday.

But if you’ve got any last-minute shopping to do, many malls, grocery stores and retail shops will be open even up until Christmas Eve.

Some location hours may vary, but here’s a look at when some popular retailers and big businesses will be open around the holiday, as confirmed by The Charlotte Observer.

• ALDI: Open with limited hours on Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.

• Costco: Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.

• Food Lion: Open until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.

• Harris Teeter: Open until 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve, including pharmacies until 2 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.

• Lidl: Open until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.

• Publix: Open until 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.

• Sam’s Club: Open until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.

• Target: Open until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.
