EDITOR’S NOTE: This story has been updated with the opening date.
A new nightclub and cocktail bar will debut in uptown Charlotte soon.
Encore and XoXo Lounge will open at 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at 314 N. College St., according to the nightclub’s social media sites.
A two-day hiring event was held in August for servers, bartender, bussers and hosts at the same Northside Station site at 300 N. College St.
The club’s owner James Nguyen declined to comment Thursday. Nguyen was previously a co-owner of QC Social Lounge at Northside Station and Warmack, an Asian restaurant and bar in Plaza Midwood that opened last year.
