People who toured Cuba in December with members of the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture will hold a panel discussion about the experience at a forum in March.

Gantt Center CEO David Taylor and others will talk about the trip in an “informal conversation” led by local journalist and documentary filmmaker Steve Crump at the center. The March 3 event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. is free, but a reservation is required on the center’s website.

The group arrived on the island just two days after President Barack Obama announced that he was restoring diplomatic relations with Cuba.

The trip was hosted by the center and the Cross Cultural Journeys Foundation of California.
