Harris Teeter gives 40 cents off per gallon — at one Charlotte location

Harris Teeter will offer 40 cents off per gallon at its new fuel center in Steele Creek to celebrate its opening.

The offer runs Oct. 21 to 23 and the new center is located on 12920 South Tryon St., according to a Harris Teeter news release. The location is in the Steelecroft Shopping Center.

The fuel center will also offer customers $0.03 off per gallon every day with the use of a VIC card, the release said.

The average price in Charlotte on Thursday was $3.59 per gallon for regular unleaded, which was lower than the national average of $3.82, according to data from GasBuddy.com.

Previously, Harris Teeter ran the same promotion when it opened a new fuel center in Davis Lake in June. And in August, the company gave customers 20 cents off per gallon at a University City store/fuel center location to celebrate UNCC students returning to campus.
