Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library hosts ‘Meet the Charlotte Observer’ at Sugar Creek branch.

Charlotte Observer Staff

With our mobile newsroom in Hidden Valley up and running, we invite the community to meet our staff.

As a part of our launch, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library Sugar Creek branch will host “Meet the Charlotte Observer Staff” 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, 4045 N. Tryon Street.

It’s an opportunity for the community to interact with us and get to know the journalists covering Hidden Valley, and the greater Charlotte-Mecklenburg County region. We encourage everyone to ask questions, share story ideas and learn more about the news gathering process. Light refreshments will be served.

For the next four to six weeks The Charlotte Observer is partnering with the library at the Sugar Creek branch to bring the mobile newsroom to Hidden Valley.

We’ll cover the community like never before, listen to its concerns and tell those often missed stories emerging from this unique and fascinating neighborhood, with a rich history, nestled in Charlotte’s northeast.

We look forward to seeing you Thursday night, and encourage you to drop by the library over the next several weeks.
