Overturned tractor trailer north of Charlotte caused delays on I-85 south
A vehicle accident on Interstate 85 southbound in Cabarrus County Tuesday morning caused traffic delays, according to N.C. Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred on I-85 in Concord near George W. Liles Parkway at 7:26 a.m., according to DriveNC, a DOT website that tracks traffic incidents.
Drivers took exit 54 to get around the accident, DriveNC said. The accident was cleared by Tuesday afternoon.
Charlotte Observer news partner WSOC reported a tractor-trailer overturned on the interstate.
