A crash with injuries closed three of four lanes on the Interstate 485 inner loop in Charlotte on Saturday afternoon, state highway officials said.

One person was hospitalized with serious injuries, and another had minor injuries, according to Medic.

The express lane and left lanes closed for about an hour near South Boulevard exit 65 at 1:35 p.m., according to DriveNC.org, the state’s real-time traffic incidents site. They were reported open at 2:50 p.m.

“Expected impact to traffic is high,” officials said on the site. Backed-up traffic still could be present, they said.
