Driver dies in head-on collision in Union County, other driver injured
A driver died in a head-on collision on Indian Trail Fairview Road in Union County Tuesday, a sheriff’s office spokesperson said in an email.
Another person was taken to the hospital, said Lt. Matthew Winfrey with the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Highway Patrol was not immediately available to answer questions.
