How much rain did the Charlotte area get?

In the past two days, the Charlotte region received as much as 4 inches of rainfall, at Camp Thunderbird on Lake Wylie, according to U.S. Geological Survey rain gauges.

More rain is on the way. The forecast calls for scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday, with the chance of precipitation at 30 percent, according to the National Weather Service. There’s a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms Tuesday. The chance of precipitation falls off Wednesday.
