Suspect sought in Charlotte stabbing
Police are searching for a suspect in a stabbing Tuesday at Old Pineville Road and Archdale Drive in Charlotte.
About 3:45 p.m., a male stabbing victim was taken by Medic to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries, police said.
Police have released video surveillance images of a suspect in the stabbing but haven’t said whether they believe the assailant knew the victim or whether the attack was random.
The assailant is a black male with a beard, wearing a black sweatshirt with a yellow zip-up jacket underneath, blue jeans and white sneakers.
The suspect may also walk with a slight limp, police said. The assailant was last seen getting off the light rail at the Scalybark Station.
