One person was killed in East Charlotte on Tuesday, Charlotte Mecklenburg Police said.
A man has died after being shot in east Charlotte, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Tuesday evening.
Police said officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon 911 call near the 1200 block of Kelston Place around 6 p.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound.
Medic pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police have not identified the the victim’s name or age.
