Man found dead near I-77 ramp. Death caused by overdose, CMPD report says
A 47-year-old man was found dead near an interstate 77 southbound ramp in south Charlotte on Thursday evening, according to MEDIC.
He was reported unconscious but pronounced dead at the scene at 6:08 p.m. near Woodlawn Road, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police report said.
His death was from an overdose, according to the CMPD police report.
