Four juveniles accused of shooting and killing a 16-year-old at a northeast Charlotte home in August were charged with first-degree murder, police said.

They were accused of shooting and killing Tyshaun Lamont Stokes after firing into his home in the 4000 block of Hillsboro Avenue on Aug. 17. Two other teens were arrested on Aug. 28.

No one else was injured in the shooting. But three children — ages 3, 4 and 5 — and two women — ages 34 and 35 — were also home at the time, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police incident report.

The four teenagers newly-charged were not named; three are being held at a juvenile facility.
