Charlotte arcade bar wants to ID ‘shrimpy loser’ who broke in and stole their booze

A Charlotte arcade bar is asking for help identifying a man who was caught on camera breaking into the bar and stealing bottles of liquor over the weekend.

Footage posted by Super Abari Game Bar showed the man breaking into the establishment on Seigle Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.

“If you know who this wimpy, shrimpy, loser is, please let us know,” the bar said in a post on Instagram. “Pretty sure it’s the same offender as last time. He definitely lives close by as we tracked his footprints as best as we could.”

In footage from outside the bar, the man is wearing a hoodie and carrying a backpack while he used a brick and his feet to break the bottom half of the bar’s front door. Video from inside showed him ducking into the bar and walking behind a counter where he started shoving liquor bottles into his backpack.

A CMPD incident report said seven bottles of liquor, totaling $470, were stolen, including:

  • Jack Daniels
  • Mezcal
  • Jalapeño tequila
  • Jameson
  • Casamigos
  • Crown Royal

The footage showed the man walked back out the front door and down the street out of view shortly after taking the bottles.
