An armed robber stole $1,221 from a Wells Fargo branch in southwest Charlotte Thursday afternoon, according to a police report.
The robbery occurred at a Wells Fargo on Tyvola Road at 1:14 p.m., where a person used a gun to steal the money, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police report said.
A 36-year-old man and the bank were listed as victims. The report did not say if the man was a customer or employee. It said the robbery took place inside the bank.
