FBI, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police make arrests in north Charlotte case, CMPD says

Charlotte police and the FBI were making arrests in north Charlotte on Wednesday morning.

It was not immediately clear what police were investigating, but the police department said it would release information later.

Officers used militarized vehicles in the 4900 block of Reagan Drive, and were seen putting people in handcuffs. Police announced the investigation around 8:40 a.m.

A woman who declined to give her name said officers went room-to-room in a hotel knocking on doors and yelling “FBI!”
