‘Trauma’ victim dies among homes in Charlotte subdivision, CMPD says

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded to a homicide Thursday on Ciera Nichole Court in northwest Charlotte.

The incident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m.

CMPD Maj. Torri Tellis said that the victim, who has not been identified, was killed in a domestic violence incident. Tellis said that the victim suffered “trauma,” but did not specify exact cause of death. Police said that they are not searching for any suspects.

Family could be seen on the front yard of the house where the killing took place, some were crying.
