A 39-year-old Charlotte woman last seen driving from a home on July 16 has been reported missing, police said today.

Allisha Dene Watts’ black 2023 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 was found days later on July 18 in Anson County, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police. Watts’ family is concerned because they haven’t heard from her.

Carolina Panthers training camp is upon us.

This year, there’s a lot of new faces around camp and none more important than quarterback Bryce Young, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

America’s got Barbie fever, folks. Well, at least some do.

It was only a matter of time before Greta Gerwig’s new movie “Barbie” became a right-wing target, given its mainstream popularity and message of female empowerment. Some are calling it “woke” and “man-hating feminist propaganda.”

Paige Masten saw the film and says those critics either didn’t pay enough attention or deliberately misunderstood the point.

4. No data compromised in cyberattack on town of Cornelius, officials say

The town of Cornelius was the target of a cyberattack, officials said yesterday.

Fortunately, no data was compromised after staff were able to thwart the attack.
