McDonald’s rolls out new McFlurry for a limited time. Here’s when and what to know
McDonald’s is adding to its dessert offerings with a new McFlurry.
Starting Aug. 9, the Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry will be available at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, the fast-food chain announced last month.
A twist on the classic hand-spun treat, the new flavor features “crispy cereal mix and chocolatey peanut butter cookie pieces” blended in vanilla soft serve, according to a product description.
The dessert is available for a limited time, though McDonald’s didn’t say when it will be removed from menus. Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
It’s just the latest shakeup on McDonald’s menu. In July, the fast food giant said it was ditching its McCafe Bakery lineup that featured treats including the blueberry muffin and iced cinnamon roll.
“We know goodbyes are never easy – but fans can still satisfy their sweet tooth with our iconic Chocolate Chip Cookies, Baked Apple Pie and frozen desserts,” a spokesperson said at the time.
