An Ohio man was left shocked when he saw how much his lottery scratch-off ticket won.

Paul bought his $20 Cashword scratch-off ticket in Cuyahoga Falls on May 31, according to a June 3 news release from the Ohio Lottery.

He had the ticket for a few days before scratching it after he returned from a fishing trip. When he saw how much he won, he practically fell out of his seat.

“I grabbed my phone and scanned it and when I saw $50,000, I about passed out,” he said.

Paul said it was something unexpected.

“I was in complete shock. Nothing has ever happened to me like this in my life,” he said.

Paul said he may use the money for a down payment on a house. He also might put some money toward his pension and take a trip.

After taxes he will receive roughly $36,000, the release said.
