Research 2022 candidates for Charlotte mayor, City Council in July municipal election
The Charlotte Observer asked all mayoral and City Council candidates to answer biographical and issue-focused questions in advance of the July municipal election.
Click the names below to read their response to the candidate questionnaire. For mayor and district seats, voters pick one person. For at-large seats, voters pick up to four.
The 2022 municipal election is Tuesday, July 26. Early voting began Thursday, July 7. Only voters who live in the Charlotte city limits will be able to vote in the election. Candidates for districts 1, 4, 5 and 7 do not face competition in the July election.
