Charlotte weather forecast: Isolated storms — and the warmest day of 2023 so far

Thunderstorms carrying a risk of cloud to ground lightning are possible in the Charlotte area Monday afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday’s forecast of a high of 89 degrees would be the warmest day of the year so far, according to Weather Underground.

The National Weather Service says there is a chance of isolated showers Monday afternoon and scattered showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m.

The high for Monday is 83 degrees and the chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday could see strong wind gusts at times, with a 30% chance of precipitation and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon.
