In their first nationally televised game of the season, the Carolina Panthers will host the Atlanta Falcons at 8:15 p.m. Thursday.

The Panthers suffered a disheartening 34-37 loss in the last meeting between the two teams when kicker Eddy Piñeiro missed a game-winning field goal attempt in overtime.

Despite their 2-7 record, the Panthers aren’t out of the playoff hunt yet, but tonight’s game against a division rival is a must-win.

Thursday’s game, however, will not be available through a traditional television broadcast option in Charlotte.
